Pursuant to the document, on October 22 , 2010, a special sitting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of signing the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms in 1950 is to be held.
The resolution contains a number of recommendations for the Cabinet of Minister as to the organization of the events in the territory of Ukraine dedicated to the celebration of the 60th anniversary of signing the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms in 1950.
According to the resolution, the Ombudsman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is to present a special report on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of signing the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms in 1950.
